In the last ten years, Samsung has transformed from selling low-end electronics under different brand names to a top-of-the-line developer. Their main goal was to merge all products under a single unified brand, Samsung, as well as revamp their design and product quality to become a leading brand. To achieve this, Samsung hired hundreds of “hip designers” from premier U.S. design schools. In order to out-do their competitors, Samsung invested in supporting their creative designers and provided them with opportunities to enrich themselves as creatives and come up with unique designs that will appeal to their market. Their designers were sent all over the world to learn from ancient architecture, famous art galleries, and groundbreaking designs in other industries. The result was having hundreds of young motivated employees ready to take risks and innovate. “
